Diana Vreeland: the eye has to travel

I was having dinner with a friend of mine yesterday and she suggested that I should watch Diana Vreeland's movie which is available to download on itunes.

I managed to watch it today,it is a documentary about her life as fashion writer and editor and how she became one of the most influential women of the 20th century, a true icon.

It is marvelous and I am sure you will enjoy it :)

Human Rights Film Festival in London

Hi Rush,

I love Sal y limon bangles, a must have for spring and summer! I have another brand of gorgeous bangles to tell you about but will do that tomorrow.

I am at The Gate cinema in Notting Hill now to watch The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, will tell you if its good later. I came across the promotional magazine of the Human Rights Watch Film Festival and guess who's on the cover? Nadine Labaki for her film "where do we go now?". Loved this film. Among other films showing is The Island President talking about how the Maldives is a country fighting for a physical survival and how its citizens are becoming environmental refugees. Funny enough Sachin and Braulio were talking about the Maldives disappearing during lunch today.
